  1. Hi Tom,
    I am trying to use sparkfun v2 gyroscope and accelerometer data to calculate angle. I am stuck in the infamous drift problem. I am currently trying to apply kalman filtering as mentioned in your blog. However I am confused on how to get the process noise covariance and measured noise covariance. Also is initial bias 490 in your case? or is it some other units ? and how do we calculate initial alpha state?
    I would really be grateful if you could help me with this asap.
